In January 2023, YouRuMaru participated in "MAISON & OBJET," the world's most prestigious international interior and design exhibition, also known as the Paris Collection of interior design, held in Paris, France, and decorated the booth of Morisa Co., Ltd., a Japanese paper manufacturer in Kochi Prefecture, with Origami lamps.
Our Product "Origami Lamp Onion" is selected as a "WHAT'S NEW?" product at the "WHAT'S NEW?" spaces,
the latest trends come to our life through the inspiring selection of new product.
The "Origami Lamp Onion" by YouRuMaru was selected and displayed in the "Grounded" space (near the entrance of Hall 2), which was created by trendsetter Francois Bernard. The theme of "Grounded" is in line with the ideas and values we want to deliver through our products. We are very happy that our products have been recognized outside of Japan.
We have had the desire to bring products that utilize Tosa Washi and Japanese technology to the world long before we started YouRuMaru. It is a great feeling to be able to realize a concept that I have long been developing and to be able to stand on the starting line.
